Today’s Mortgage Rates — Super Simple

Mortgage rates went down just a tiny bit today. They haven’t changed a lot lately, but lower is always good for buyers.

📉 Average Rates Right Now

  • 30-Year Loan: about 6.32%

  • 15-Year Loan: about 5.80%

  • Jumbo Loan: about 6.41%

  • FHA / VA Loans: around 5.9%

📈 Why Did Rates Move?

  • The stock market went up.

  • The bond market also improved.

  • These two things normally push rates around, but today they mostly balanced out.

  • Everyone is waiting to see what the Federal Reserve says in December.

💡 What This Means for You

Rates are staying in the lowest spot they’ve been in since October.
If they keep steady like this, it might be a good time to buy or lock in a rate.
